About this service
A preliminary view, without engagement
Dispute Resolution at Emirates Legal is a service through which a prospective client can submit a brief description of a dispute or potential claim and, where we are free to assist, receive a confidential preliminary view from senior counsel.
Submitting a query does not, in itself, create a lawyer–client relationship. Before any preliminary view is provided, we will conduct an internal conflict check. The view that follows is general in nature, given on the information available, and intended to help you decide whether and how to take a matter forward — not as a substitute for the considered advice we would provide following formal engagement.
Emirates Legal FZE is registered to practise before the DIFC, ADGM and AIFC Courts, and regularly advises on matters governed by English law and the laws of the United Arab Emirates. For matters before the onshore Arabic-language courts, we work in collaboration with locally licensed advocates.

The Process
How it works
Submit your query
Complete the short, confidential intake form on this page — a few details about you, the counterparty and the matter.
We screen and review
We run a conflict check within 24 hours and assign the matter to a senior member of the firm for review.
You receive a preliminary view
Within five working days — by written note or a short call — we give you a candid view on options, forum and next steps.
You decide whether to engage
Take the matter forward only if you wish to. A lawyer–client relationship arises only on signature of an engagement letter.
We will give you a candid view. If a matter is best resolved by negotiation rather than litigation, we will tell you so — and what that path will involve.
